The winter of 2025–2026 in Ukraine became a trial that seemed endless. This series of works captures not only the everyday life of Ukrainians, but also their ability to find strength in overcoming stress and adapting to reality, no matter how harsh it may be. The photographs, taken in the frontline city of Sumy from December to March, draw back the curtain on the daily life and leisure of Sumy’s residents while also portraying the city itself.
